A clinician, researcher, educator, and businessman, Dr. Tyrone Malloy is an accomplished physician and retired U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel. He is the CEO. Medical Director, and Principal Investigator at the Soapstone Center for Clinical Research in Decatur Georgia. Additionally, he operates a private OB/GYN practice in Decatur and serves as Medical Director at the Atlanta Center for Women’s Choice. He attended Howard University, where he studied Chemistry and holds a BS Dr. Malloy holds a BA in Biology from New York University. He obtained his MD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and interned and performed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Following several years of medical practice, Dr. Malloy returned to school, this time earning a JD from the Georgia State University College of Law. Prior to undertaking his multitude of current roles, Dr. Tyrone Malloy served as Chief of Medical Staff at DeKalb Medical Center. Organizer and Clinical Trial Director for Medical Network Research, and Staff Physician at Moncrief Army Hospital. He has sat on the Board of Directors of Omni Global, Inc., and Progressive Medical Services of Georgia. In his capacity as attorney, he acted as CEO and President of Atlanta Legal Medical Consultants, Inc. Dr. Malloy has acted as Principal Investigator in more than 70 research trials and has published numerous papers. He is a member of the American Fertility Society; the American Society of Law. Medicine, and Ethics; Planned Parenthood Federation of America; the Society of Clinical Research Associates; the National Medical Association; and the American Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Dr. Malloy is a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN
