A veteran medical professional, Dr. Tyrone Malloy brings more than three decades of experience to his current position as the CEO, medical director, and principal investigator for the Soapstone Center for Clinical Research. In his current position, he supports patients, pharmaceutical companies, and the larger medical community by spearheading pharmaceutical research and clinical investigations. In addition to his work with the Soapstone Center. Dr. Tyrone Malloy serves as a physician with Metropolitan Atlanta OB/GYN, a private medical practice in Decatur, Georgia. Dr. Tyrone Malloy studied chemistry at Howard University before going on to complete his bachelor’s degree in biology at New York University, he holds his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Malloy's postgraduate training includes internships and residencies at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. D.C. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Malloy also maintains certifications from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Health and Human Services. An active member of the field, he stays current with the latest trends in the obstetrics and gynecology fields through his involvement with a wide range of professional societies, including the National Medical Association, the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians & Investigators, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
