An accomplished physician, Dr. Tyrone Malloy has treated members of the military and the general public alike over the course of a career stretching for more than three decades. As founder and Medical Director of Cheshire Bridge Gynecology, LLC, in Atlanta, he leads his practice in offering patients a variety of obstetrical and gynecological procedures, as well as family-planning counseling and weight-loss services. Outside of his private practice, Dr. Tyrone Malloy acts as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Emory University School of Medicine. Commissioned as a United States Army Officer in 1971, Dr. Malloy undertook active duty in the Vietnam War and in Desert Storm. Serving for nearly 30 years, he received an honorable discharge in 2000 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. At the time of his discharge. Dr. Malloy held the position of Gynecology Consultant at Fort McPherson in Georgia. While an undergraduate at New York University, Dr. Tyrone Malloy earned distinction as a Martin Luther King III Scholarship Fellow and a Distinguished Military Graduate. He later achieved status as a Health Professions Scholarship Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, from which he attained his medical degree in 1975. In addition, Dr. Malloy procured a Juris Doctor from the Georgia State University College of Lav/ in 1993. Dr. Tyrone Malloy has completed extensive medical research throughout his career. Currently, the board certified doctor remains focused on developing a novel prenatal screening approach as CEO, Medical Director, and Principal Investigator of the Decatur, Georgia-based Soapstone Center for Clinical Research
