Dr. Tyrone Malloy is a leading gynecologist and obstetrician with over 35 years' experience in hospitals and medical centers throughout Georgia. Dr. Tyrone Malloy currently works as medical director and principal investigator of the Decatur-based Soapstone Center for Clinical Research, CEO and medical director of Cheshire Bridge Gynecology and Metropolitan Atlanta Ob Gyn in Decatur, Georgia. In 1971, Dr. Malloy obtained a bachelor of arts in biology from New York University. He subsequently attended medical school at Johns Hopkins University and received his MD in 1975. Dr. Malloy went on to complete an internship and an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. More than 10 years after completing medical studies, he obtained a JD from Georgia State University College of Law. Dr. Malloy has maintained affiliations with numerous medical organizations throughout his career. He has served on many boards and is currently on the board of directors of the Sterling Institutional Review Board. Dr. Malloy is involved with the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics, as well as the American Fertility Society, and the National Medical Association
