Mr. Barnard:
I am Family Physician practicing in the Southeast. I referred my patients to Dr. Tyrone Malloy for advanced gynecological care for more than twelve years. It is my honor to submit this character statement on his behalf.
Dr. Malloy has a long and distinguished career as a teacher and researcher. I observed his thoughtful instruction to hundreds of future healthcare providers including medical students, residents and fellows. The skills and expertise they gained were valuable components of their training.
His reputation is well known throughout the United States. He holds memberships in multiple professional organizations and often serves as the keynote speaker or panelists at their national conferences. Several colleagues encouraged me to contact Tyrone Malloy for guidance and support during my transition from New York State to Georgia. Of course, I followed their advice. He was a reliable source of information and support to me.
My own experience with Dr Malloy is just a fraction of his contributions. The feedback from patients under his care is a testimony of love and respect between him, his patients and their families. It is the type of relationship I and many other healthcare providers hope to achieve in our careers.

His commitment, dedication and generosity are not limited to the medical community. His is a regular supporter of local theatre and community events, including gatherings for employees, their families and his family’s congregation.
Incarceration deprives Metropolitan Atlanta of an excellent physician and community leader. Please consider alternatives that will permit Dr. Malloy to continue to serve his beloved Fulton and Dekalb communities.
