With degrees in medicine and law, Dr. Tyrone Malloy is a highly qualified clinical physician, researcher, educator, and businessman. He holds undergraduate degrees in biology from New York University, and MS MD is from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. A retired US Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Tyrone Malloy interned and conducted his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He also earned a JD from Georgia State University School of Lav/ Currently the CEO, Medical Director, and Principal Investigator for Soapstone Center for Clinical Research in Decatur. Georgia. Dr. Malloy oversees and conducts pharmaceutical research for the firm. Soapstone works to provide support to the pharmaceutical community by conducting clinical trials with diverse patient groups and supply companies with quality data that they can use. It also seeks to assist the medical community by advancing drug research and safety. Dr. Malloy's firm has worked with companies such as Pfizer, Solvay. AstraZeneca, and Eli Lilly and Company. In addition to his work with Soapstone, Dr. Malloy operates a private practice, Metropolitan Atlanta OB/GYN, in which capacity he provides PMS and adolescent counseling, menopause management, infertility counseling, cancer detection, and more. He also serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine and is Medical Director of the Atlanta Center for Women's Choice. His hospital affiliations include DeKalb Medical Center and Atlanta Medical Center. Dr Malloy is a member of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators, the Atlanta Medical Association, the National Medical Association, and the Georgia State Medical Association, among other professional organizations.
