Dr. Tyrone C. Malloy M.D.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Tyrone Malloy has stood out as a leader in the medical care community in and around Atlanta. As a privately practicing obstetrician and gynecologist; he has maintained a strong client base in the town of Decatur. Georgia, since 1981, and in 2009. He became CEO and Medical Director of the Atlanta Center for Women's Choice. In addition. Dr. Tyrone Malloy leads the Soapstone Center for Clinical Research as its CEO, Medical Director, and Principal Investigator. Dr. Tyrone Malloy prepared for his medical career at Howard University, where he studied chemistry, and New York University, where he earned his Bachelor s in Biology, he served as a Research Assistant at the Rockefeller university in his final semester of undergraduate study, then enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After receiving his MD, Dr. Tyrone Malloy completed an internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, having earned commission as an Officer in 1971. In recognition of his service as an obstetrics and gynecology resident. Dr. Malloy became Chief Resident in his department He went on to serve at Moncrief Army Community Hospital in Fort Jackson.

South Carolina, before settling in Georgia to enter private practice. In the late 1980s. Dr. Tyrone Malloy resumed his formal education. In 1993. he earned a JD from Georgia State University College of Law: he became CEO and President of Atlanta Legal Medicine Consultants, Inc. , soon thereafter. Since that time, he has balanced his clinical care responsibilities with leadership positions in obstetrics and gynecology, in medical research, and in legal medicine. Additionally, he continues in active research and has earned sponsorship from many top pharmaceutical corporations. Dr. Malloy's current research involves the development of prenatal testing using maternal blood samples, which will reduce the need for invasive and potentially harmful intrauterine procedures, see less
